When we began our work in 2013 I had recently been elevated from a Director level position to one of Vice President of a large psychiatric facility. This career change was both exhilarating and yet also very challenging. Also of note is that at this time I was also emotionally vulnerable having lost both parents unexpectedly in close succession, and had also lost a job I had for 22 years.
In our early work, Laura helped me master my vulnerability, honor my emotional state, and remain focused and clear in my commitment to my professional development.
